REFLECTION - "NEW HEIGHTS"
Deut. 1: 11 - May the Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times more numerous than you are, and bless you as He has promised you!
(NKJV)
You can’t plant an Oak tree, a pine or a whispering willow tree in a small pot and expect that tree to grow to its fullest. In order for that tree to maximize its potential, it must be planted in an environment where it has room to grow and flourish. I believe there are times that God causes a sense of divine frustration in his own so that we might be prompted to plant our roots in a bigger pot, a larger field more conducive to growth.
Someone said, “You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose
sight of the shore.” Take a minute and let that soak in!
James Whittaker, the first American to reach the top of Mount Everest on May 1, 19
63, said, “Man is at his best when reaching for something beyond his grasp.” You’ve go
t to lose sight of the shore – you’ve got to reach for something seemingly beyond your grasp if you want to reach NEW HEIGHTS.
